Planet Combustion 2025:
Which Planets Are Burnt?
When a planet comes too close to the Sun, it loses its strength — "burnt" by solar fire. This weakens the planet's positive significations and makes it inauspicious for related activities.

Planetary combustion (Graha Asta) occurs when a planet moves within a specific angular distance of the Sun. The Sun's intense energy overpowers the planet, causing it to lose its strength (bala) in the birth chart and in transits.
This doesn't mean the planet "disappears" — but its positive significations become weakened. A combust Jupiter, for instance, reduces clarity and wisdom. A combust Venus means marriage ceremonies during that window are considered inauspicious.
